subpoena at Quantum Australia. We look forwarding to seeing if they will
be the first ever quantum startup ever to be held in contempt of court.
True innovation that couldn't have happened if they didn't hire Peter
Rohde.
In
case anyone is curious about legality, everything herein will be
covered under "truth is an absolute defense", "honest and qualified
opinion", and arguably the "public interest disclosures" sections of the
defamation act of 2005.
For
example, we think it is in the public interest to know that Peter Rohde
is willing to help Zixin Huang lie in a court of law possibly because
he just has a thing for abusive women.
To
those among you who are still students, our message is simple. Do not
take the internship which BTQ is recruiting for here. Working with or
near Peter Rohde is a severe risk to your personal wellbeing.
Think
back to the Jon Dowling conference (if you're reading this you were
there). Even if you accept Rohde's version of events with Chris Altman,
at what point in the story does Altman do or say anything which implies a
threat to Rohde's safety? What exactly does Rohde allege Chris of doing
in his retelling which would warrant Altman being barred from attending
a conference where Rohde was talking?
The
answer is nothing. Rohde left out from that he claimed to UTS security
that Altman might have a gun. This accusation was completely
preposterous, as Altman had only been in the country a few weeks on a
student visa, and thus wouldn't have had the means or know-how to
acquire a gun (legally or otherwise). But university complaint systems
are not justice systems, and due to Rohde's seniority the allegation was
acted on without ever telling Chris the nature of it nor giving him a
fair chance to see and refute the evidence.
Peter Rohde is a serial abuser of complaint processes,
making false and malicious allegations about people being safety threats
whenever he doesn't like them. There are
three of us so far, do you want to hazard being the fourth?
Don't work at BTQ. Don't become like us. That's our advice.
Additionally, we think it is in the public interest to
know that we heard through word of mouth the police searched Gavin
Brennan's apartment for meth.
Lastly, it is our honest and qualified opinion that Yuval Sanders is living in his fathers shadow.
Though, that's not really news.
